Sheila Armstrong
Sheila founded the business, now branded as Gosforth Estates in 1997, soon after returning to the North East from London, where she enjoyed a successful career. She has invested consistently ever since and the business is now in a strong position for further growth. As well as running Gosforth Estates Sheila owned and successfully operated the Townhouse Hotel in Gosforth for 12 years until Coronavirus pointed towards a residential redevelopment scheme, now successfully delivered.
Philip Barnes
Philip is a non-executive director advising the business on development viability and planning risk. Philip led the Newcastle Office of Nathaniel Lichfield & Partners until 2013 and since then has been the UK Land and Planning Director for Barratt Developments.
Anna Barnes
Anna has been responsible for letting and tenant management since her return from University in the USA in 2017. She combines her work at Gosforth estates with a lettings and sales role for Bowden’s, one of the North East’s leading estate agencies.
Robert Barnes
Robert graduated with a first class honours degree in Business Management and is currently completing a part-time MSc in Real Estate. He combines his work with Gosforth Estates with a role at Orange Umbrella, a leading regional accountancy and business management consultancy.
